PVBC has partnered with the Rivanna Master Naturalists to host another “Nature for All” birding walk on Saturday, May 10 at 9 AM, at Riverview Park in Charlottesville.
This event is intended to be accessible to all. We will move at a speed designed to accommodate those who have to move at their own pace. The park has paved, flat trails ideal for wheelchairs, has handicapped parking, and a handicapped porta potty. The trail has many benches for those needing to rest.
Club members will help guide the walk to find and identify birds and help even the most inexperienced. We’ll provide binoculars and help you learn how to use them.
