    Meet in the Great Valu Parking Lot alongside Route 240, just east of downtown Crozet.  From Great Valu we will carpool to the trail along the pond at Licking Hole Creek, which offers a rich variety of habitat.  Peter will lead us on a two-mile, two hour walk on this favorite annual fall trip into a unique local area for birds.

    Blue Ridge Young Birders Club

    PVBC sponsors a young birders club to foster discovery and learning about Virginia’s birds in children ages 7-16.

    The Blue Ridge Young Birders Club meets monthly during the first Saturday bird walks at Ivy Creek. There is no cost to participate in our monthly meetup. Parents are welcome to join. We strive to be ADA compliant. Loaner binoculars are available courtesy of PVBC.
