Bird Feeder Quiet Area Open House at Ivy Creek Natural Area

Come learn about the birds at the feeders in the Ivy Creek Quiet Area. Binoculars will be available so that you can get an up-close view of the feeder birds. Piedmont of Virginia Bird Club members will identify birds and give tips on attracting birds with feeders and native plants. At 10:30 AM, there will be a tour of the native shrubs and trees planted in the Quiet Area to attract birds. Woody plants provide birds with year-round shelter and food from nuts and berries to caterpillars.
