The latest count of our membership for this 2016-2017 year revealed that more than 100 members have paid dues so far. Of these 6 members are new to the club. This is great progress, but the goal set for membership is 175 members, so we are far short.
We still need everyone who has not yet renewed to do so, as we count on revenue from dues to support our speakers and our community outreach program such as our Bird Conservation Poster Contest in Albemarle, Charlottesville and Nelson County schools.
So, please, take a few minutes today to pay your membership dues for this year. The Monticello Bird Club is counting on your support!
