    March Monthly Meeting: The behavior and ecology of Northern Cardinals

    Monthly Meeting

    Joanna Vondrasek, Professor of Biology at Piedmont Virginia Community College and PVBC Programs Coordinator, will give a presentation about the behavior and ecology of cardinals – a common bird with some less common behaviors. She will highlight some of her work on the ecology and singing behavior of cardinals and discuss birdsong, particularly by female passerines, more broadly. 

    Meeting will be in-person at Ivy Creek Education Building
