Weather: Overcast with dense fog
Total Attendance (including leaders): 15
Total # of Species Observed: 29
Despite heavy fog, the thirteen birders who traveled to Amy and Doug’s beautiful Madison County farm were treated to a wonderful morning of birding. Doug had previously bush-wacked a most birder-friendly swath, allowing us to follow Amy’s carefully thought out walk around the rolling hills of their beautiful, working cattle farm. While the “blue hills” that hovered in the distance could only be imagined, we did see quite a few birds and enjoyed just being together and sharing the morning with our generous hosts. Thanks so much, Amy and Doug, for your kind hospitality!
Thanks, too, to JoAnn Dalley who kept our ebird talley. (We added just a couple more species after you left, JoAnn, and they are included in your list below.)
