It was a delight to have esteemed birder, Stauffer Miller, back in Charlottesville as speaker at the MBC
October 4th Monthly Meeting. Stauffer treated his audience to a birding tour of Mexico based on his four trips to that country in 2003. Earlier in the evening, as our Speaker Chair Lou Tanner was introducing Stauffer, Lou announced that Stauffer can now list becoming a Lifetime Member of the Monticello Bird Club among his many accomplishments. Congratulations, Stauffer, and thanks for so generously spreading your wealth of birding knowledge with us throughout your years in Charlottesville. We look forward to keeping in touch with you (even as you’ve migrated slightly northward to Winchester VA) through future field trips and, hopefully, future speaker presentations.
