Highlights:
8/29 – In addition to the good number of Nighthawks seen later, early in the evening as the clouds were breaking up, a rainbow appeared – sometimes in broken arcs and even as double rainbow at one point!
8/31 Attendees enjoyed the evening. Birds other than Nighthawks were quiet, so the count of species is low. There was a nice, small flock of waxwings, and there were several flycatchers, including Eastern Wood Pewee and Great Crested Flycatcher. Around 7:40 the bats appeared — 3-5 in total.
