    Teen Adventures at Hog Island Audubon Camp

    Hog Island Audubon Camp

    Max Nootbar, one of Charlottesville’s hotshot Blue Ridge Young Birders, recently spent an exciting week at Hog Island Birding Camp in Maine.  Not merely an avid birder, Max is also a very talented young artist, and (I have learned from reading his outstanding blog piece describing his exciting adventures there) a gifted writer as well!   As recipient of Monticello Bird Club’s partial scholarship to Hog Island Camp, Max will be the featured Speaker at our Nov. 1st MBC Monthly Meeting.  You can relive Max’s exciting experience with him in November, but why not double your pleasure and treat yourself to a vicarious trip with Max to Hog Island right now by following this link to his blog post.
