Our membership on June 30, 2022 of 241 exceeds last year’s count of 219 members. Many thanks to Scott Connuck, our membership chair, and to all our members for their support.
Our FY2022 budget contemplated a mix of revenue and expenses such that we would roughly break even for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2022. Our membership grew more than expected, which produced more revenue than budgeted. The budget included a transition to in-person monthly presentations, but we continued to hold our monthly speaker presentations virtually, thus savings facility fees and travel expenses. Some of the other activities we’d conducted pre-pandemic, such as scholarships, were included in the budget but continued to be on hold throughout the year. As a result, our net income was significantly higher than expected.
