The Board-approved budget for FY 2021 shows a significant deficit: ($3,260). This reflects the decision earlier this summer to forgo the annual bird seed sale as a safety measure during the pandemic. The Board decided to maintain a full slate of programs for the year, including a new effort, Hospice Outreach, funded with $500.
In essence we are drawing on the accumulated surplus over the last three years, $3,556, to carry us through the challenge of the pandemic. Please contact me if you have any questions.
