Financial highlights of the year were record membership dues, based on an enrollment of 190 members, and near-record birdseed sales. Our financial surplus exceeded budget by $1.3K, which reflects 1) the unavailability of a BRYBC camp scholarship recipient, reducing spending by $.5K, and 2) the decision to forego the annual photography contest, reducing spending by $.7K.
FY20 marks the fourth consecutive year in which the surplus has exceeded $1K.
