You may have noticed the following as a post on the Club Facebook page from Maynard Davis (our MBC Treasurer who wears a multitude of caps [soon to be logo-sporting??] on behalf of the Club). In his Photography Contest promoting role, he reminds us that the contest registration deadline is just around the corner. Read his post below to make sure you’re up-to-date on all Photography Contest entry procedures.
We’re already receiving contest entries. Be sure to review the contest rules on the MBC website (Here’s the link.) April 1 is the deadline to register with PhotoContest Pro. Note that you do not need to register again if you registered last year. The deadline for submission to the contest itself is April 27.
If you do need to register with PhotoContest Pro, note that Gerry Bishop ([email protected]) isn’t available to process your registration until March 26. Plan to register with Gerry after March 26 but before April 1.
If you would like to submit your entry to Maynard Davis rather than go through the upload process for PhotoContest Pro, that deadline is Monday, April 23. Send your photograph as a jpg file to Maynard ([email protected]) as an attachment to an email. Note that the size of your photograph may be reduced in the upload process.
