Our diligent Membership chair, Myrlene Staten, is always coming up with great ideas and has the know-how to get things done. She has worked out a plan to show our appreciation to our members who have joined MBC or renewed their membership at the Golden Eagle (sponsor) level by giving them a “Spudz.” Spudz, for those of you not in the know, are small lens-cleaning cloths housed in a handy pouch that, thanks to Myrlene and the Spudz distributing company “Alpine Innovations,” sports the MBC Mockingbird Logo and our Club name.

This Spudz for you!

Myrlene was able to secure enough extra Spudz to make them available to all club members. She says that our MBC pouches are a light blue color (on my home screen, it looks more grayish, but Myrlene verifies that they really are a light blue shade). Spudz will be on sale at MBC Monthly Meetings (our next one is 12/6), and they will cost $6.00 (which is our net cost, including tax). Because we’re not high-tech retailers, if you’re planning a Spudz purchase, please come with the exact dollar amount in hand or a check made out to Monticello Bird Club.
‘Tis the Season,” you know, and a Spudz could be that perfect stocking stuffer for a birding pal.. or a handy-dandy little treat for yourself and your binoculars. So, go for it!
