Dear MBC members:
Monticello Bird Club wants to maintain or increase our membership. MBC’s hosting a table at community events with information about the club and items like bluebird boxes and eye-catching photos of birds is one way to increase public awareness of the club and its mission, while potentially attracting new members.
But volunteers are needed to man the tables. The first event that needs volunteers is Feb 18, 2017. Anyone who is an MBC member willing to represent the club at a table for a couple of hours, please contact Myrlene Staten at [email protected].
Without volunteers, it is likely that MBC will not be represented at these events. I’m hoping some of you will email me and let me know that your are willing to volunteer a few hours and share your enthusiasm for birding and MBC with local event particpants.
