MBC President Doug Rogers recently received the following email invitation to MBC members to attend the Nov. 6th Virginia Film Festival screening of the “The Million Dollar Duck.” Here’s the email to all of us from the film’s director, Brian Davis.
Hi,
I’m the director of documentary film, The Million Dollar Duck, and I wanted to personally invite the Monticello Bird Club to the Virginia Film Festival screening on Sunday Nov. 6th. We’ve had a lot of birders come to screenings in the past and they love it. I’m a native of Charlottesville and both Paul Pastor, the moderator for the screening, is a UVA alum. Local Duck Stamp artists Ron Louque (winner of the 2001 Duck Stamp) and Vern Pond will also be in attendance.
