Monticello Bird Club is proud to announce its annual Bird Seed Sale. You may order online here through our website or print out our mail-in order form. The Bird Seed Sale is MBC’s only major fundraiser, so we’re counting on your support.
Our Bird Seed Sale supports our partnerships with organizations like the Blue Ridge Young Birders Club (BRYBC), Ivy Creek Foundation, and Rockfish Gap Hawk Watch. It also funds the Bird Conservation Poster Contest (co-sponsored with BRYBC), and – new this year – a photography contest and exhibit. The Bird Seed Sale is crucial to our being able to serve bird enthusiasts – like you – in our community.
You can promote the Bird Seed Sale by posting flyers at your work place or other community gathering place. Print a full page ad or the 4 to a page ad.
We’re using the same bird seed supplier as in past years. Lizzie Mae is an Ohio-based business dedicated to Amish craftsmanship. There’s a wide selection of seed, at great prices. We also have Bluebird Houses available.
Two important dates to put on your calendar:
- Wednesday, October 26 – the deadline for us to receive your order
- Saturday, November 5, 8:00-1:00 – pickup order at Virginia Department of Forestry Warehouse
